About Small Groups

Throughout history, God has used small groups to help His people in their journey to know Him. Small groups have been a part of the ministry of Christ Wesleyan Church through the years, and we believe small groups will be an increasingly effective way of loving others (in words and actions), learning together, and leading people to saving faith in Christ.

Our small groups share several goals:

Spiritual growth -- Members of our small groups will study God's word together, prayer together, and worship together.

Building friendships -- Members of our small groups will become closer in their friendships with each other and support one another on life's journey. Part of small groups is just having fun together!

Serving our community -- Our small groups will find ways to serve our church and community. Examples might include taking a few minutes to send cards to someone in our church who is ill or grieving, or perhaps taking a few hours one day to help with a service project.

Evangelism -- There are lost people all around us who are in need of Jesus. Many would far rather attend a small group with a friend than church on Sunday morning. Small groups provides an effective avenue for evangelism.

If you have an interest in small groups at Christ Wesleyan Church, you can learn more by contacting one of the small group leaders, calling the church office, or by marking "s" on a comment card during Sunday morning service.
