Small Groups in 2012

Our small groups will begin meeting on 9/9/2012. Pastor Rusty Sieck has been recruiting leaders and those interested in joining small groups for several months. Small group leaders have met with Ernie Plemmons for the past two weeks preparing for an exciting start to an important ministry for our church. Ernie has served as a pastor in the Wesleyan church and small groups have been an important aspect of his ministry. Ernie has volunteered to help coordinate small groups and we are thankful for his leadership.

 Our small groups will begin by following a study Pastor Rusty has prepared that will coincide with his Sunday morning sermons. This study will last several weeks and then groups will options for what is studied.

 Groups will initially meet on either Sundays or Wednesdays, but each group is free to select the time that will work best for its members. Childcare will be provided at Christ Wesleyan church on both Sunday and Wednesday evenings, to coincide with existing youth and children programs.

Small Groups growing in 2011

Our 3 small groups have been meeting together regularly and are off to a good start in 2011. Our youth pastor, Mark Tolan, plans to assist us in identifying potential new group leaders and new group members.

We plan to have a leadership meeting for small groups in a few weeks.

Small Groups at Christ Wesleyan Church begin Fall 2010

The small group ministry at Christ Wesleyan Church is now underway. Each of our three open groups has met at least once (as of the second week of November, 2010).

We have over twenty adults currently involved in small groups and believe this important ministry will continue to grow. Our small groups are growing together through fellowship, prayer, and Bible Study.
